My personal perimenopause journey opened my eyes to a critical gap that my experience in HR hadn't fully prepared me for. Whilst I'd supported countless employees through various life transitions, experiencing menopause myself – the unexpected changes to sleep, focus, and sense of self – revealed how inadequately most workplaces handle this natural transition that affects nearly every woman.
This dual perspective – as both an HR professional who understands organisational needs and a woman navigating perimenopause – showed me exactly where the system is failing. It inspired me to complete my Menopause Coaching Certification, combining my workplace expertise with lived experience to bridge this crucial gap.
